Inter will announce the extensions of the contracts of coach Simone Inzaghi and captain Samir Handanovic in the coming days.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that finalizing the new deals for Inzaghi and Handanovic will be among the club’s first orders of business for the January transfer window.

The Nerazzurri have long been expected to extend the contract of Inzaghi, with the club firmly committed to continuing with the coach in the long term, whilst talks have been underway for some time to keep the captain on for another season as well.

With the transfer window well underway, extending the deals of these two vital figures will be among the early pieces of business that the Nerazzurri aim to get done as they look to build ahead of the upcoming season with the security of keeping the two important figures in the team.
