Inter will work to convince the likes of forward Alexis Sanchez and midfielder Arturo Vidal to leave the club this summer by offering severance payments.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are working to terminate the contract of the two high-earning players so that they can move forward with their summer transfer business with more space on the wage bill.

Vidal has transfer interest from the likes of Flamengo and Al Rayyan and will likely complete a move to one of the two clubs, but before this can happen the Nerazzurri will have to agree the termination of his contract based on a clause that allows them to do so with a severance.

Meanwhile, Sanchez is not in the club’s plans, and given that he is one of the Nerazzurri’s highest earners, they are working to convince him to agree a deal to leave with the incentive of a severance payment.
