Fiorentina are interested in signing Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti for next season, and they could bring him in on loan initially with an obligation to make the deal permanent.

This according to today’s print edition of Florence-based newspaper La Nazione, who report that the 22-year-old would be a target for La Viola coach Vincenzo Italiano, and that the Nerazzurri value him at at least €20 million.

Italiano wants to see his team sign a striker this summer, with his hope being to find an Italian forward who is young enough to grow and improve over the coming seasons.

Pinamonti meets the coach’s criteria, and the Tuscans are thinking about moving for him following his impressive loan spell with Empoli last campaign.

The Tuscans’ offer could be to take Pinamonti on loan initially, and for there be a purchase obligation in the terms of the loan deal to sign him on a permanent basis later.
