Inter are planning a reshuffle of their defense over the summer, with Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni leaving the club and Torino’s Bremer and Feyenoord’s Marcos Senesi arriving in their place.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that Bremer and Senesi are the two players identified as the right targets to rebuild the backline around.

Bremer has been a target for some time, as the 25-year-old’s form for Torino last season made him a priority arrival to strengthen at the back for the Nerazzurri.

The Brazilian is likely to arrive no matter what, possibly facilitated by a sale of de Vrij, but he would not be seen as a replacement for Bastoni who has been linked with a sale to Tottenham Hotspur.

If Bastoni is to be sold, another defender with a similar profile to Bastoni will be signed to take the place of the 23-year-old in his role on the left side of the defense, with Senesi having been targeted for that role.
