Inter have a personal agreement with striker Gianluca Scamacca, but could struggle to meet the €50 million asking price of his club Sassuolo.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, who report that the Neroverdi will hold firm on their valuation of the 23-year-old amid a push by Arsenal to sign him.

Scamacca has long been a major target for the Nerazzurri in attack, and they have agreed personal terms with him for some time, but finding an agreement with his club could prove to be tricky.

Arsenal are stepping up their interest in the striker, and they have had an offer worth €35 million rejected by the Neroverdi, who are set to stick to their asking price of €50 million.

It remains to be seen if the Gunners will be ready to improve their offer to approach Sassuolo’s valuation and get a deal fone for the 23-year-old, but the possibility of Inter signing him could be diminished if the asking price remains what it is.
