A summer sale of striker Lautaro Martinez would become more likely in the event that Inter complete the signings of both Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will not likely start next season with more than four forwards, and that Martinez could be pushed out by two major signings in attack.

The signing of Dybala on a free transfer appears all but inevitable at Inter this summer, while their pursuit of Lukaku is much more complicated but they are nevertheless fully serious about trying to sign the Belgian if the opportunity presents itself.

Alexis Sanchez looks set to depart to make way for at least one attacking signing this summer, but this would still leave three forwards at the club from last season, in the form of Martinez, Edin Dzeko and Joaquin Correa.

If signing both Dybala and Lukaku were to become possible then one of these three could be offloaded to make room in the squad, and Martinez would be the player with the most interest on the market.
