Clubs in La Liga and Ligue 1 are interested in signing Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito ahead of next season, while Basel would also like to re-loan him.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 19-year-old could still also be offered to Empoli as part of a deal for midfielder Kristjan Asllani, and that his future is in the balance for the summer.

Esposito returned to Inter from his loan spell with Basel at the end of the season just gone, and while the Swiss side are not interested in making the deal a permanent one, they have inquired about bringing him back on loan on the same terms as last season.

The Nerazzurri are not keen on this option, although they are not certain whether they will aim to loan Esposito out again for another season so that his value can increase further, or whether they will aim to cash in on him this summer.

Apart from Basel, there are teams in La Liga and Ligue 1 who would also be interested in signing Esposito this summer.
