Chelsea would be open to allowing striker Romelu Luklaku to join Inter on a paid loan this summer.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Blues are ready to start talks with the Nerazzurri, but that they would expect a significant loan fee as part of any deal.
Lukaku has been pushing for a return to the Nerazzurri, and has been trying to convince his current club to allow him to re-join the club he left last summer on loan.
The 29-year-old will cost the Premier League club around €25 million in their budget for the financial year with amortization, and so they would demand at least this much as a loan fee from Inter.
However, the player’s insistence looks to have convinced his club to at least sit down at the table with Inter, and it will be up to the Nerazzurri to convince them on a formula for a loan move.
