Inter have offered Cagliari €7 million plus the loan of Primavera midfielder Cesare Casadei to sign wingback Cesare Casadei.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri are hoping that the inclusion of Casadei in an offer will be enough to convince the Rossoblu to get a deal done for Bellanova.
Cagliari’s request for Bellanova has been for around €9 million plus add-ons, whilst the Nerazzurri are hoping not to have to go quite that high to sign him.
A player-plus-cash offer could be the right formula to convince Cagliari, and with the Sardinians’ having dropped down to Serie B last season, the possibility of loaning in Casadei for their push to immediately return to the top flight could interest the Sardinians.
The Nerazzurri have no plans to lose Casadei on a permanent basis as he is considered one of the jewels of their youth system, but experience on loan in Serie B could be a logical next step for the 19-year-old.
