Inter To Move For Salernitana’s Ederson Or Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek If Roberto Gagliardini Sold, Italian Broadcaster Reports

Inter will move for one of Salernitana midfielder Ederson or Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the event that Roberto Gagliardini is sold this summer.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that Gagliardini is a target for Fiorentina during the summer transfer window and that the Nerazzurri will look to sign a replacement with a similar profile to him if he departs.

Inter are already set to see Matias Vecino, Arturo Vidal, and likely Stefano Sensi depart in midfield this summer, but the exodus could continue if the right offer comes in for Gagliardini.

The 28-year-old was not a regular part of the Nerazzurri’s plans this season, and La Viola could tempt them on a sale with the right offer.

Should Gaglairdini be sold, the Nerazzurri will look to reinforce the midfield in his place, and Ederson and Loftus-Cheek are the two players they have identified as being able to fill in the same role as him.
