Monza are interested in signing Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti ahead of next season.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the newly-promoted Serie A club have identified the 22-year-old as a serious summer target as they work to strengthen for the top flight.

Monza have already completed the signing of goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio on a permanent basis from Inter, and are also pursuing the likes of Lorenzo Pirola and Stefano Sensi as they aim to reinforce their squad following promotion.

The Lombard team want to make a positive impression right away in their first season back in Serie A, and are firming up their targets to bring their squad up to the desired level.

Pinamonti impressed during his loan spell with Empoli last season on their return to Serie A, and Monza feel that he could have a similar effect for them were they to sign him.
