Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has turned down a move to Real Madrid this summer, as he is only interested in making the switch back to Inter.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the Belgian only has returning to the Nerazzurri on his mind and doesn’t think of joining the Champions League holders as an option.

Lukaku is still pushing hard for an exit from Chelsea this summer, feeling that his time with the Premier League club has not gone according to plan even though he has only been at the club for one season.

Real are among the destinations linked, and the 29-year-old is among the forwards linked to the Merengues following the failure of their pursuit of PSG’s Kylian Mbappe, but the player is not interested in making the switch.

The Corriere also reports that Chelsea are starting to seriously consider the possibility of making a deal with Inter for Lukaku, and have lined up Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele as replacements.
