Chelsea Could Ask Inter For Stefan De Vrij As Part Of Loan Deal For Romelu Lukaku, Italian Broadcaster Reports

Chelsea could ask Inter for defender Stefan de Vrij as part of the negotiations for a loan move of Romelu Lukaku back to Serie A this summer.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Dutchman is among the players who the Blues would consider asking for as part of a loan swap now that they have opened up to the possibility of letting Lukaku re-join the Nerazzurri on loan.

Chelsea are now open to allowing Lukaku to return to the Nerazzurri on loan, but given the size of their investment in the Belgian they would expect either a substantial loan fee or a player or players in return.

The likes of big names Alessandro Bastoni, Milan Skriniar, and Lautaro Martinez are among those players already reported to be of interest to the Blues as they listen to Inter’s offer on a loan formula for Lukaku, but de Vrij would be another given that they need defensive reinforcements.
