Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio has issued an update on the respective situations of Romelu Lukaku, Paulo Dybala, and Lautaro Martinez in Inter’s transfer plans.

Reporting on air, Di Marzio explained that the Nerazzurri would not plan to have all three forwards in their squad for next season, and that the only way they would look to sign Dybala and Lukaku would be if Martinez leaves, whilst he explained that Dybala’s arrival is close.

Inter could make some high-profile attacking signings during the summer transfer window, with Dybala having been a major target for several months since his availability from Juventus on a free transfer whilst a shock return for Lukaku looks to be an increasingly concrete possibility.

With a return of Lukaku on loan suddenly looking to be a real possibility, the plans are up in the air given that the Nerazzurri had previously looked set to both sign Dybala and keep hold of Martinez.

Di Marzio explained that “As far as Inter, if both Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala were to be signed it would only be if Lautaro were to leave. They’re close to signing Dybala.”
