Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal is set to complete his move to Brazilian giants Flamengo during the coming weeks.

This according to today’s print edition of Chilean newspaper AS Chile, who report that everything is in place for the 35-year-old to sign for the Brazilians, who are fully convinced on the transfer.

Vidal has looked on his way out from Inter this summer for some time, while Flamengo have led the way for his signature especially in the past few weeks.

There were some doubts that the Brazilian team would be ready to finalize the move, with coach Paulo Sousa aiming to build around young players, but he has been convinced on the move and there are no further obstacles.

The exact manner in which Vidal departs Inter remains to be seen, and could involve the payment of a severance to terminate his contract, but there is little doubt that he will leave and join Flamengo.
