Newly promoted Serie A side Monza are one step away from completing the signing of Inter owned Italian striker Andrea Pinamonti.

This according to a report on the homepage of Italian broadcaster SportMediaset who claim that an agreement worth around €19 million is close between the two clubs.

Many clubs in the Serie A have been linked with the young Italian who spent last season on loan at Empoli managing to find the back of the net on 13 occasions.

However, whilst clubs like Fiorentina have waited before making a move, Monza have accelerated and have presented an offer of €19 million which Inter seem to accept, the report continues.

Monza, which is owned by former AC Milan supremo Silvio Berlusconi, are involved in several other transfers with Inter, namely goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio whose signing they have completed upon winning promotion to the Serie A.

Other Inter players Monza have been linked to include Stefano Sensi as well as young defender Lorenzo Pirola but nothing has been agreed in either of those cases as of time of publication.
