Inter are close to completing a deal for Cagliari wingback Raoul Bellanova, with a fee of €8 million and the inclusion of Primavera duo Cesare Casadei and Franco Carboni on loan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Rossoblu are ready to accept the Nerazzurri’s offer for the 22-year-old.

Inter have worked fast to sign Bellanova once he was identified as their priority target in the wingback positions, and the Rossoblu have also been inclined towards a speedy conclusion to negotiations.

€8 million on its own was not quite enough to meet the Sardinians’ valuation of Bellanova, but the Nerazzurri will loan them Casadei and Carboni, which has convinced them.

Bellanova arrives to reinforce in the wide areas following the departure of Ivan Perisic for Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer, and could also make the departure of Denzel Dumfries easier to stomach should that be on the cards.
