Inter have made another offer to Empoli for midfielder Kristjan Asllani, and they look to be close to completing a deal.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri have made an offer of €9.5 million, and this should be just about enough to bring negotiations to a close.

The Nerazzurri have stepped up their pursuit of Asllani, who has been identified as the priority target for a backup to Marcelo Brozovic in the squad for next season, in recent weeks.

The 20-year-old has the right profile to deputize for Brozovic, something which was lacking from Inter’s squad last season, and so they have been pushing to get a deal done for him.

The Nerazzurri have put another offer on the table in their latest talks with Empoli, worth €9.5 million, and this will likely be enough to agree a deal with the Tuscans soon, while they already have the agreement of the player.
