Inter are interested in signing Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic this summer, and this would be in addition to Torino’s Bremer rather than as an alternative to the Brazilian.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the Nerazzurri have started up talks for the 24-year-old.

Bremer remains the Nerazzurri’s priority target in defense, and while the competition of Paris Saint-Germain remains for the 25-year-old, the Nerazzurri are well-placed to sign him.

However, in addition to the Torino man Inter would want to sign another defender this summer, with Andrea Ranocchia set to leave the club.

Milenkovic has emerged as one of their main targets, and they are stepping up their pursuit of the Serbian defender recently.

The Nerazzurri’s strategy depends on who departs during the summer transfer window, but with Ranocchia and potentially another defender to leave before next season they will aim for both Bremer and Milenkovic.
