Inter do not want to let wingback Denzel Dumfries go for an offer of less than €40 million this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have slapped a €40 million asking price on the 26-year-old amid interest from a number of Europe’s top clubs.

Dumfries arrived just last summer from PSV, but his form for the Nerazzurri as he played his way into a starting role during the season just gone means that he would already be worth much more than what they paid for him a year ago.

The Dutchman’s form has not gone unnoticed, and he has attracted transfer interest from around Europe.

The Nerazzurri would consider a sale of Dumfries particularly in the event that it meant that they were able to avoid the sale of another big name from within their squad, but their valuation would have to be met.
