Manchester United and Bayern Munich are both ready to make €40 million offers for Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, who report that the Dutchman is a major target for both clubs and that they would be ready to to test the Nerazzurri’s resolve with a big offer.

Dumfries joined Inter just last summer, but his form has attracted major transfer interest, with German champions Bayern seeing him as ideal whilst United coach Erik Ten Hag is also an admirer and would like to make him one of the first signings in his tenure at the club.

The Nerazzurri have placed a value of at least €40 million on Dumfries, but United and Bayern could both be ready to try and make them an offer that they’d be ready to accept.

Dumfries’s departure could mean avoiding a big name sale at Inter similar to those from last summer.
