Monza CEO Adriano Galliani has personally called Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti to try and convince him on a move to join the newly-promoted club this summer.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the executive has spoken to the 23-year-old to make the case for joining the Lombards.

Monza have reportedly made Pinamonti one of their main transfer targets for the summer transfer window as they look to strengthen for life in the top flight, though the player is not yet convinced on it being the right move.

There are a number of clubs interested in signing Pinamonti, and the young striker will have a big decision to make about his future.

Galliani has tried to intervene personally, speaking to the 23-year-old over the phone and arguing the case for joining the ambitious newly-promoted team over other offers, though it remains to be seen whether the player is convinced.
