Newly-promoted Serie A side Monza have made Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti a major target and are ready to make an offer for him.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Lombard club are prepared to make a big of around €15-18 million for the 23-year-old.

Monza are aiming to strengthen in attack now that they are back in Serie A, with the club having ambitions to immediately raise their level to that of the Italian top flight.

Pinamonti’s form during the season just gone which he spent on loan with Empoli has marked him out as a player with the right kind of profile for Monza’s needs.

The Lombards will likely make their offer to the Nerazzurri, although it remains to be seen if they will be able to convince the Nerazzurri regarding a deal for the 23-year-old who also has a number of other suitors in Italy and abroad.
