Paulo Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun has acknowledged that talks are ongoing with Inter, but denied that an agreement on a free transfer is close at hand.

Speaking to Italian news outlet SerieANews, Antun explained the situation thus far with the 28-year-old and that the Nerazzurri, making clear that it is still too early to say that he will join in the summer.

Antun and some intermediaries met with Inter yesterday afternoon, with the talks seeing the Nerazzurri present a formal contract offer to the Argentine’s representatives.

The Nerazzurri are stepping up their interest in Dybala, and the player’s agent has acknowledged that the talks are serious and that they are working to see if a deal can be reached.

Thus far, however, it would be too early to say that an agreement is on the way, and more will need to be done to reach this point.

“Regarding the meeting, I can only say that we’re working, and then we’ll see what happens,” Antun said.
