Paris Saint-Germain have made Inter defender Milan Skriniar their priority target to strengthen their backline ahead of next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the French champions are very keen on the 27-year-old who Sporting Director Luis Campos has identified as their main defensive target.

Campos met with the Nerazzurri yesterday to inquire about the availability of Skriniar, and the Nerazzurri made clear that the Slovak defender would only be available for a very sizable offer, while the player himself is not interested in a move away.

However, the Parisians could return with a higher offer, as they have made the defender one of their first-choice targets for the summer transfer window.

While the Nerazzurri would be very reluctant to lose Skriniar this summer, given the imminent arrival of Torino defender Bremer they could feel that a big money sale would be easier to stomach if it were a defender like Skriniar rather than a midfielder or forward.
