Inter are considering Juventus-owned Atalanta defender Merih Demiral as a possible replacement for Milan Skriniar in the event that he’s sold to Paris Saint-Germain.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, via L’Interista, who report that the Nerazzurri are thinking about a move for the 24-year-old in the event that Skriniar departs.

Skriniar remains a serious target for PSG, and the Nerazzurri are preparing for the possibility that the 27-year-old could be on his way if the French champions make a massive offer for him.

The latest name linked as a possible target would be that of Demiral, a player who Atalanta have the option to sign for €20 million on a permanent basis after having him on loan from Juventus during the season just gone.

La Dea could activate the clause to buy the Turkish defender permanently, but then immediately re-sell him to Inter in the event that the Nerazzurri are left looking for a Skriniar replacement.
