Inter could sell Edin Dzeko this summer to make way for all of Lautaro Martinez, Paulo Dybala, and Romelu Lukaku being in the squad for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 36-year-old’s departure could pave the way for an ambitious swoop for both Dybala and Lukaku without Martinez having to be sold.

Inter’s pursuit of Dybala looks to be accelerating decisively, whilst they are also doing everything they can to make an improbable return of Lukaku on loan happen.

In the circumstances, the Nerazzurri appear to have a choice on their hands, as they are also hoping to avoid having to sell Martinez, but they cannot reasonably afford to have so many high-earning forwards in their squad.

A Dzeko sale could be the key to unlocking the situation, however, given that the club are due to spend €9.25 gross on his wages for next season.

There is interest from Major League Soccer in Dzeko, and the Nerazzurri are monitoring the possibility of letting him go so that they can built an ambitious attack containing all of Martinez, Dybala, and Lukaku next season.
