Inter defender Federico Dimarco could receive his first start for the Italian national team in tomorrow evening’s Nations League clash with England.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Azzurri head coach Roberto Mancini is thinking about including Dimarco in the starting eleven for the match as he considers his squad rotations.

Dimarco has already made his first two appearances for the Azzurri during the international break, although both have come off the bench, with the 24-year-old playing as a substitute against Germany and Hungary.

However, Mancini is set to make further changes to his starting eleven for tomorrow evening’s clash with England, and he could decide to hand Dimarco his first start for the national team.

Dimarco has been working his way into the national team setup since the beginning of last season, when his regular appearances for the Nerazzurri began to really attract the national team coach’s attention.
