Inter have identified Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic as their preferred replacement for Milan Skriniar should he be sold this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will move for the 24-year-old in the event that Skriniar is on his way.

Skriniar could well be sold during the summer transfer window, with Paris Saint-Germain having emerged as major suitors for the 27-year-old and Chelsea also keen.

In the event that Skriniar leaves, the Nerazzurri would aim to move for a player with a similar profile who could directly replace him within their squad, and Milenkovic looks to be the player who they are most interested in for this purpose.

The Serb has been a target for the Nerazzurri as well as other top clubs in Serie A in the past, and a sale of Skriniar could be the decisive push that they need to move for him.
