Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio met with the agent of Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic while he was in London today.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri executive spoke with Milenkovic’s agent Fali Ramadani to sound out the possibility of a move for the 24-year-old.

Ausilio was in London today, but he was not meeting with Chelsea regarding the situation of Romelu Lukaku, who is still speaking to his club personally to try and convince them on a move.

Rather, the Sporting Director was in talks with Ramadani, agent of Milenkovic who the Nerazzurri have lined up as a serious target for their backline during the summer transfer window.

A sale in defense looks likely, with one of first-choice trio Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, or Alessandro Bastoni likely to be on their way, although Bastoni is the player who the club would most wish to avoid selling.

Torino defender Bremer is set to be signed, but the Nerazzurri will likely make another signing in defense to replace the player who leaves, and Milenkovic is a player they are working to bring in.
