Qatar Stars League club Al Rayyan are pushing hard to sign Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal ahead of Brazilian club Flamengo.

This according to today’s print edition of Chilean newspaper La Tercera, who report that the Qatari team have made an offer worth $8 million US dollars net per season to try and convince him to pull the plug on a deal with the Brazilians.

Vidal has looked close to a deal to sign for Flamengo, with the Brazilian giants having put forward an offer of a two-year deal worth $5 million US dollars net per season which he is ready to accept.

However, Al Rayyan remain very keen on the Chilean and are not giving up, ready to make an offer which is significantly higher than that of Flamengo.

Vidal looks all but certain to leave Inter this summer, but the destination remains up in the air as Al Rayyan try and persuade him ahead of Flamengo.
