Chelsea are ready to make a move to sign Inter defender Stefan de Vrij this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that in addition to Denzel Dumfries, the Blues have made de Vrij a target.
De Vrij looks to be on the way out at Inter this summer, with the Premier League the likeliest destination for the 30-year-old whose current contract with the Nerazzurri is set to expire at the end of June 2023.
Chelsea have come forward as one of the club’s keenest on the Dutchman, as they are looking to replace several defenders who are leaving on free transfers ahead of next season.
The Blues are already in talks with the Nerazzurri regarding a possible loan move of Romelu Lukaku back to Serie A and have also shown an interest in wingback Denzel Dumfries, but they will also be looking to try and sign de Vrij.
