Inter are close to getting a deal done to sign wingback Raoul Bellanova from Cagliari.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are close to a complete agreement with the Rossoblu on a fee and will include Primavera midfielder Cesare Casadei on loan as part of a deal.
Inter have identified Bellanova as the right profile to strengthen the wingback position, as they are aiming to build around young Italian players with room to grow and improve following the departure of the experienced Ivan Perisic.
Cagliari value Bellanova at €10 million plus add-ons, whilst the Nerazzurri’s offer has been for around €7-8 million, but both sides are motivated to get a deal done quickly and should not have much trouble agreeing on an amount.
The Nerazzurri will loan Cagliari Casadei as part of the deal, whilst fellow Primavera player Franco Carboni could also be loaned.
