Inter defender Stefan de Vrij would be interested in leaving to join Manchester United this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Red Devils are interested in signing de Vrij and that the Dutchman would be ready to make the switch.

De Vrij’s current deal with Inter has one more season on it, expiring at the end of June 2023, and the 30-year-old’s future is up in the air particularly in the event that he does not agree a new deal with the Nerazzurri.

Manchester United have come forward as one of the clubs interested in signing de Vrij as they look to re-style their defense for newly-appointed head coach Erik ten Hag.

De Vrij would be happy to join the Red Devil should they make a move for him and agree a deal with Inter to bring him in for next season.
