Inter are targeting Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic and Torino’s Bremer as replacements for Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij in defense should they depart this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have lined up Milenkovic and Bremer as players who they believe could step directly into the backline in place of Skriniar and de Vrij.

Skriniar could be the big name player to be sacrificed this summer with Paris Saint-Germain having made a push to sign him in recent days, whilst de Vrij also looks close to the exit door with his contract set to expire at the end of June 2023.

The Nerazzurri will not want to be unprepared for the possible departures of starting players from their backline, and so they are working to pre-empt any sales with the right replacements.

Bremer has long been a priority and would be seen as an ideal player in the middle of the back three, whilst Milenkovic is seen as a stylistically apt replacement for Skriniar should the Slovakian be sold.
