Inter will offer Sebastiano Esposito as part of a cash-plus-player offer to Empoli for midfielder Kristjan Asllani.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the young striker is set to be part of the Nerazzurri’s strategy to get a deal done for Asllani.

Talks are well underway between Inter and Empoli regarding Asllani, and the Nerazzurri are aiming to meet part of the Tuscans’ valuation for the 20-year-old with a counterpart going the other way.

With Empoli needing to reinforce in attack following the return of Andrea Pinamonti to Inter following his successful loan spell last season, the Nerazzurri could offer another young striker to take the place of Pinamonti.

Esposito spent last season on loan in Switzerland with Basel, but he is back at Inter and they would be ready to send him to Empoli if it meant securing the signature of Asllani.
