Inter have made Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek a target in the event that both Stefano Sensi and Roberto Gagliardini leave the club this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the Nerazzurri have lined the Blues midfielder up to replace the duo should they depart.

Sensi looks set to leave Inter this summer as he is not in the club’s plans, and there is interest from a number of Italian teams in the 26-year-old.

Meanwhile, Gagliardini’s situation is also up in the air, but if he were to leave then Inter would aim to bring in a midfielder with a similar profile to replace him.

Loftus-Cheek is a player who the Nerazzurri see as having a suitable profile to reinforce their midfield, and they are in talks with Chelsea to potentially make a deal for him among their other dealings with the Premier League club.
