Inter will agree a mutual termination of Arturo Vidal’s contract at the end of June by paying a severance of €4 million.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Chilean’s time as a Nerazzurri is very close to coming to an end.

Vidal has long looked to be on the way out at Inter this summer, as the 35-year-old is no longer in the club’s plans and they have an option not to extend his contract into next season if they pay him a severance.

The precise manner of the midfielder’s departure has not yet been clear, while it has also not been clear when the separation would take place.

Things now look to be in place for Vidal to officially leave Inter at the end of June, however, as the club and player plan to make the formal agreement for the end of his current contract.
