Paris Saint-Germain are continuing to push to sign Inter defender Milan Skriniar despite the fact that they are still some way off the Nerazzurri’s asking price for the 27-year-old.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the talks between the clubs are starting to hear up even though the Parisians have not yet approached Inter’s valuation.

PSG have stepped up their pursuit of Skriniar in the past few days, meeting with the Nerazzurri and making their interest clear, although their preliminary offers have been rebuffed as being far too low.

Inter want to cash in on the 27-year-old to the highest extent possible if they are to sell him and so would not let him go for cheap, although PSG’s thinking is that given the Nerazzurri’s financial situation, they will accept a sale.

The French champions believe that they can get a deal done, although for the moment there is still a lot of work to be done between the clubs.
