Inter have made Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic, Atalanta’s Merih Demiral, and RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol three of their main defensive targets for the summer transfer window.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report the Nerazzurri will base who they sign in defense alongside Torino’s Bremer on which if any of the starting back three are sold this summer.

Milan Skriniar has been linked with a sale to Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks, and if the 27-year-old is on his way then Fiorentina’s Milenkovic has been lined up as a like-for-like replacement.

Demiral, who spent last season on loan at Atalanta who have the option of buying him permanently from Juventus, is another player seen as having the right profile to replace Skriniar.

Meanwhile, if Alessandro Bastoni were to be sold, then Gvardiol would be seen as a player with the right qualities to take his place in the team.
