Inter could face a hurdle in their pursuit of Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic in that their relationship with La Viola is not currently very positive.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are moving for Milenkovic as a potential replacement for Milan Skriniar but that they will ultimately have to have a positive rounds of talks with Fiorentina.

Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso did not endear himself to the Nerazzurri ownership and directors with some accusations made regarding finances at Inter made during the fall.

This would not in any way preclude a deal for Milenkovic, who Inter are serious about and would want to move for quickly in the event that Skriniar is sold in a big money move to Paris Saint-Germain.

However, given that Inter do not currently enjoy a very positive relationship with La Viola as they do with several other clubs, they would have to bridge the gap in order to get a deal done.
