Inter remain the team in the best position to get a deal done for Torino defender Bremer due to a personal agreement with the player.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reported on air that the Nerazzurri still have to work out a deal with Torino for the 25-year-old’s signature but that his preference and agreement with Inter look to be the decisive factor.

Inter have long been working to sign Bremer, who has been identified as the priority target in defense this summer, and they have been in talks with him personally for several months.

According to Pedulla, the agreement that has long been in place still holds, and the Brazilian wants Inter ahead of other possible destinations.

Now, it will be up to the Nerazzurri and the Granata to find an agreement of their own which would get the Brazilian his desired move.

“It’s been the same situation for the past five or six months,” Pedulla said. “Inter are in pole position due to the decision of the player himself. He’s waiting for Inter to sit down and agree on a transfer.”
