Inter have asked Cagliari about the possibility of loaning in wingback Raoul Bellanova with the obligation to purchase him on a permanent basis rather than a permanent transfer this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have inquired about the possibility of changing the structure of the deal in talks today.

The Nerazzurri look to be close to a deal for Bellanova, valued at around €9 million and which would see a Primavera midfielder make the switch to the Rossoblu on loan as part of the deal.

However, in a meeting with the Sardinian club today, Nerazzurri Sporting Director Piero Ausilio asked about whether the deal could be made a loan with a purchase obligation, so as to spread the cost out.

It remains to be seen how the Rossoblu will respond to the request and whether it could lead to a deal being held up.
