Inter are getting ready to step up in their pursuits of both Torino’s Bremer and Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic as they prepare to revamp their defense for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri expect to sign Milenkovic for around €15 million and Bremer for €30 million plus a player going the other way.

The Nerazzurri expect to lose at least one first-choice central defender this summer, with Milan Skriniar currently heavily linked to Paris Saint-Germain, whilst Stefan de Vrij is also a player with interest around him.

Bremer has always been the Nerazzurri’s main objective in defense and would be seen as a direct replacement for de Vrij, and whilst Torino are still holding out for €50 million they believe that a deal could be done for €30 million and a player counterpart.

Meanwhile, Nerazzurri Sporting Director Piero Ausilio has long been an admirer of Milenkovic and sees him as an ideal replacement in the event that Skriniar is sold.

Ausilio has been in talks with the 24-year-old’s agent Fali Ramadani, and the feeling is that a bid of €15 million would be enough to secure Milenkovic’s signature.
