Inter will look to reinvest the transfer fee received for Milan Skriniar in reinforcing the defense immediately in the event that the 27-year-old is sold.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri would waste no time in moving for Torino defender Bremer and Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic in the event that Skriniar is sold for a big fee.

Skriniar is currently the player most hotly linked with a big name sale from the Nerazzurri this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain reportedly pushing for the Slovakian’s signature.

Should Skriniar be sold, it would certainly be for a very large transfer fee, and Inter’s plan would be to immediately put a significant part of that towards strengthening the defense in his absence.

Moves for Bremer and Milenkovic are already lined up, but the cash influx from a sale of Skriniar could be what allows the Nerazzurri to actually complete those deals.
