Inter are very keen on signing Salernitana midfielder Ederson during the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the 22-year-old is someone who Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio remain extremely keen on.

Ederson only came to Serie A a few months ago, joining Salernitana as part of the Campanian’s ambitious push to an improbable final-day escape from relegation in their first season back in the top flight.

The Brazilian put in a string of excellent performances, which were a significant part of why his club were able to be one of the form sides in the division for the last few months of the season in order to lift themselves out of the relegation places.

Despite the midfielder’s limited experience in Serie A, Marotta and Ausilio believe that he could already be a player ready to make an impact at a high level, and they have marked him out as a target for the summer.
