Inter defender Federico Dimarco enjoyed a significant milestone in his career on Saturday evening, starting for the Italian national team in their Nations League clash with England.

The 24-year-old has already come off the bench for the Azzurri in their past couple matches, but he did one better by playing from the start, helping the team to see out a hard-fought goalless draw against the Three Lions.

Dimarco posted on his Instagram account after the match to celebrate the result.

He captioned the post, “Another step forward!”
