Tottenham Hotspur will meet with Torino Sporting Director Davide Vagnati to try and agree a deal for defender Bremer ahead of Inter.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Premier League side will try to make an offer higher than the Nerazzurri can bid to win the race for the 25-year-old’s signature.

Vagnati is scheduled to fly to London, where his agenda will be to sound out Spurs’ interest in Bremer, with the North London team reportedly very keen and ready to make a significant financial effort for this signature.

The Nerazzurri remain in pole position for the Brazilian, and are well ahead of rivals for his signature in Serie A such as Juventus, AC Milan, and Napoli.

However, if Tottenham are to seriously step up their interest in the defender, they could be well-placed to get a deal done under the nose of Inter.
