Midfielder Valentin Carboni as well as another Primavera player are set to be promoted to Inter’s senior squad in the preparations for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are ready to give some of the most impressive players from their youth sector a chance within the senior team.

With a number of older players on the way out this summer, the Nerazzurri could find their squad a little light at least while new signings filter in and settle into the team.

The aim of the club will be to test out some of the most impressive youngsters in the senior squad, with Carboni a player who won’t yet be sent out on loan but is seen as ready to have his chance with the first team.

In addition to the 17-year-old, another player from the Primavera will also have the chance to prove himself with the senior squad whilst still being made available to the Primavera.
