Inter will have a meeting with Empoli tomorrow where they are expected to get a deal wrapped up for midfielder Kristjan Asllani.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri should be able to complete the deal in tomorrow’s meeting as there is virtually nothing more left to work out with his club.

Asllani has been identified by Inter as their main target to provide a stylistically suitable backup option to Marcelo Brozovic in the squad for something, a priority in the summer transfer window given that the lack of a real deputy for the Croat was a problem that had been exposed last season.

The Nerazzurri have been working fast, moving during the past few weeks to get a deal agreed with Empoli.

A meeting between the two clubs is all set to take place, and the outcome should either be the completion of a deal for the 20-year-old, or something very close to it.
